About Lighthouse Complex Care

Netsanet Mulugeta is a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner CPNP-PC. She has spent over a decade in the medical care of the pediatric population. Our patients and her friends affectionately call her Netsy.

Before she came to Lighthouse Complex Care, Netsy worked on a multidisciplinary team that evaluated, diagnosed, and coordinated care for Pediatric patients in Craniofacial and Plastic Surgery at Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles, CA. Her patients were often very medically complex with multiple co-morbid conditions and unique challenges. This strengthened her clinical knowledge and expertise and she brings that forward into caring for the wide array of patients who come to Lighthouse. She believes a collaborative team approach is vital to caring for the pediatric patient with complex care needs and their families.

Netsy also brings the perspective as a mother of a medically complex child. She has spent thousands of hours researching both traditional and functional medicine approaches with access to resources not available to the public. Her own experiences have made her even more passionate about helping medically complex patients. She has centered her care for the pediatric patient to be holistic to help promote a healthier recovery.

Netsy is of Ethiopian decent, and speaks fluent Amharic.
