Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS)
Because mast cells play a key role in the immune system, people with autism, chronic mold exposure and chronic infections such as Lyme disease, PANS and PANDAS may develop MCAS. Eating a low-histamine diet and detoxifying the liver are key places to start for those with MCAS.
