PANS PANDAS
Although both PANS and PANDAS are often described in terms of an “acute onset” and/or specific microbial infections, neither of these conditions can be distilled down to a specific causative factor. Rather, there are a variety of factors at play. PANS/PANDAS should be ruled out for cases of OCD, ODD and anxiety, especially if they were of sudden onset.
