Glutamate

Glutamate is an excitatory neurotransmitter that can cause neural inflammation and cell death (excitotoxicity) in the presences of excess calcium. It can cause many symptoms associated with autism, ADHD and SPD, and most processed foods contain high amounts of free glutamate.
