About Fred Bloem MD:
Dr. Fred Bloem is an integrative physician and Fellow of the Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs (MAPS) who is passionate about helping children with autism and other complex neurodevelopmental needs reach their fullest potential. He understands that every child’s biology, challenges, and strengths are unique—and that care should be equally individualized.

Dr. Bloem takes a root-cause, whole-child approach, looking beyond symptoms to explore the genetic, metabolic, immune, inflammatory, nutritional, and environmental factors that may influence a child’s health and development. When appropriate, he utilizes advanced tools such as IntellxxDNA testing and FRAT testing to better understand genetic patterns and help guide personalized nutrition, supplementation, lifestyle recommendations, and treatment planning.

His approach may also incorporate supportive and regenerative therapies, including TruDOSE treatment, based on each child’s individual needs and clinical evaluation. Dr. Bloem works collaboratively with families, carefully monitors progress, and adjusts care over time to support regulation, resilience, overall wellness, and quality of life.

Above all, Dr. Bloem strives to provide families with compassionate care, thoughtful investigation, and a personalized path forward—especially when they have struggled to find answers through conventional approaches.
