Auditory Processing Disorder
Auditory processing disorder (APD) is a condition in which the brain has difficulty understanding and interpreting sounds, even though hearing ability is normal. It is common in children with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism, ADHD, learning disabilities and Sensory Processing Disorder.
