The FLIGHT™ Study: Facilitated Longitudinal Intensive Investigation of Genuine Health Transformation
There is a vast body of anecdotal evidence indicating that children with chronic conditions such as ADHD, asthma, autism, autoimmune diseases and more can fully recover, but almost no prospective research documents this. If the FLIGHT™ Study replicates what so many of us have seen – that children can lose their chronic illness diagnoses – this will provide proof-of-principle evidence that chronic and developmental diagnoses do not have to have life sentences.
The FLIGHT™ Study builds upon the CHIRP™ Study as a foundation for capturing clinical data over time to test the hypothesis that comprehensive personalized lifestyle interventions will result in symptom abatement, improved health and potentially full diagnosis reversal. The study tracks individual participants through 18 months of lifestyle interventions personalized to their needs.
The FLIGHT™ Study has already been piloted in two participants for feasibility. In 2025, the FLIGHT Study will enroll a small group of children with an autism spectrum disorder to further refine parameters for a study that could impact many more children.
Enroll Your Child
Families interested in participating must meet the following criteria:
- Have a child between the ages of 3 and 7 with an autism spectrum diagnosis
- Must have completed the CHIRP™ Survey on behalf of a child
- Must be willing to participant in an intense virtual educational and coaching program
- Have at least 3 hours a week to dedicate to study activities
During this 18-month study, participating families will receive the following types of support:
- Free or low-cost assessments (lab tests and validated questionnaires)
- A limited number of healthy lifestyle provisions
- Support from a health coach
- Group coaching calls
- Free enrollment in a comprehensive educational program

More Information About the FLIGHT™ Study
The purpose of this research study is to observe, document, and analyze an education and coaching program developed by observing successful reversal of chronic health and developmental conditions. This program is centered around taking a comprehensive approach to supporting a child’s health needs.
The FLIGHT™ Study uses an approach that is rooted in “Total Load” Theory. “Total Load” Theory suggests that the cumulative impact, or buildup, of negative health influencers (illness, toxins, diet, trauma, etc.) decreases a child’s ability to stay healthy.
The approach used in the FLIGHT™ Study involves teaching parents how to reduce a child’s “Total Load” by learning about inputs and exposures that might be harmful to health while at the same time supporting health in a personalized way.
The FLIGHT™ study is not a clinical trial (which is a study where scientists might test a treatment like a drug to see if it helps symptoms) or a test to see if any one treatment helps reduce symptoms of chronic illness.
Instead, the study evaluates whether a children’s health will improve from a whole program that teaches parents about healthy lifestyle changes and personalized care.
The FLIGHT™ Study involves:
Replicating the type of approach that we have seen yield striking outcomes, in a carefully structured research setting.
Providing the participants with a series of baseline and follow-up assessments (such as lab tests) over an 18-month period, to learn as much about each participant as possible and help inform the parents’ health decision making.
Empowering parents to make lifestyle changes through education and coaching.
Families interested in enrolling their child in the FLIGHT™ Study must first have participated in the CHIRP™ Study and go through a screening process.
